Mary Kay announces ‘career car’ award, new product

Mary Kay cosmetics India private Ltd. on Wednesday announced ‘Career Car’ award to businesswomen in recognition of outstanding performance and launched anti-aging product ‘Time Wise Microdermabrasion set’.
Mary Kay India would be offering independent sales directors an opportunity to earn the use of the most coveted incentive awarded by the company- the Mary Kay branded ‘career car’ Swift DZire.
Recognising Nagaland as one of the biggest markets of the company, Hina Nagarajan, country manager Mary Kay cosmetics India expressed confidence that Nagaland would be the frontrunner in Mary Kay India’s success.
Addressing a press conference at Ana-Ki conference hall, Dimapur, country manager said the company would continue to invest in Nagaland to support the business of independent sales force members who are taking Mary Kay’s mission of enriching women’s lives forward.
Women achieving outstanding performance would receive a specially branded Swift DZire. Mention may be made that Swift DZire has been identified as the “Heart car” symbolizing Mary Kay’s reputation across the world as “Company with a heart”.
“The ‘career car’ programme provides Mary Kay independent sales force the opportunity to earn the use of a visible symbol of their success”, said Hina Nagarajan.
President Mary Kay Asia Pacific, K.K Chua highlighting on career car programme said, society was moving very quickly and within three years since the launch of Mary Kay in India, business prospect in the north east has moved fast, and added it was the reason why the ‘career car’ has been launched much before time.
He further said the aspiration of Indians right now was to own a car not only for business purpose but for the family.
‘Time Wise Microdermabrasion set’ is an anti-aging two-step to younger looking skin which refines and replenishes the skin. The set which has to be used twice a week lasts for about 4 months and has been reasonably priced at `2500.
Further, Hina Nagarajan also announced that thousands of Mary Kay employees would join together in their goal to volunteer one million hours of community service around the world during the first Mary Kay Global month of service which starts February 8 to March 8.
Volunteers in more than 35 countries would lend their time and talents to their community in celebration of the 100th anniversary of ‘International Women’s Day’ on March 8.
Mary Kay team officials present at the press conference included Renuka Dudeja-senior manager, PR and communications, S. Gunjan-manager Sales development and education, Nitika Bajpai specialist-special event and Neha-PR manager.
Mary Kay is one of the largest direct sellers of skin care and colour cosmetics in the world and is a recipient of Elle beauty awards for three consecutive years.
In 2009 Mary Kay Inc and its international subsidiaries achieved $2.5 billion (USD) in wholesale sales world wide.
