Tiyi honey for sale
DIMAPUR: As part of Republic Day celebration, village bee keeping committee, Wokha would be launching wide range of pure honey on January 26 under the brand name ‘Tiyi Honey’. Production and sale of pure honey by the Village Bee Keeping Committee, Wokha is being carried out as a project under Nagaland Bee Keeping and Honey Mission.
ATMA to sponsor prizes
DIMAPUR: ATMA Wokha has informed that prize money of various exhibits on Republic Day for seven departments’ viz., agriculture, horticulture, sericulture, fishery, LRD, soil and veterinary would be sponsored by ATMA Wokha. Best stall and the best participating SHG,CIG and FIG would also be awarded.
DC Kohima notifies
DIMAPUR: Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Bei-u Angami has notified all government recognized villages in Kohima district to select members of village councils on or before January 31 in accordance with prevailing rules and regulations. An official bulletin informed that in the event of any village having constituted the village council recently and approved by government and if any village desired to continue with the same team, list of village council should be submitted fresh and tenure should be for five years as per Nagaland village and tribal council rules, 1979 in accordance with Nagaland village and tribal council Act, 1978.
Pineapple festival-cum-exhibition
DIMAPUR: Indian Council Of Agricultural Research (ICAR) research complex for NEH region Jharnapani would be organizing a pineapple festival-cum exhibition. The event would be held on February 2 at 10am at Molvom village Dimapur.
The occasion would be graced by director general ICAR New Delhi along with other DDGs.
All have been invited to participate in the event.
