NLA executive committee meeting: Kuzholuzo Nienu, Minister, Health & Family Welfare and convenor of LFA has convened an executive committee meeting of legislators’ forum on AIDS on February 8, 11am at committee room of assembly secretariat, Kohima.
Census training phase II at Jalukie town: Training for census Phase II supervisors and enumerators of Jalukie Sadar, Jalukie town and Ngwalwa charge which commenced at Jalukie town on January 20 would continue till January 23.
Training on climate change & entrepreneur scope in agri & allied sector: Kyong Educated Unemployed Union (KEUU) Wokha would be organizing an awareness/training program on ‘climate change & entrepreneur scope in Agri & allied sector’ on January 27 at LTC hall Wokha for the educated unemployed youths.
WDCC joint meeting: Wokha District Congress Committee (WCDC) has convened a joint meeting on January 27, 10 am at DCC office Wokha. All PCC members, DCC office bearers, executive members/ACCC presidents and frontal chiefs have been requested to attend the meeting.
YBC to celebrate golden jubilee: Yeshito Baptist Church (YBC) would be celebrating golden jubilee from January 28 to 30. Speakers for the occasion would be E.S. SBAK Nito mount Zunheboto Rev. Yevito Sumi, director URF Rev. Shekiye, pastor Satami Baptist church Eno.Vinito, and steward director Khatara Baptist church Kavito Chophy. Jubilee choir would be Achikuchu Baptist church. All members and in-laws of Yeshito village have been invited to attend the celebration.
RVC general meeting: Ruzaphema village Council (RVC) would be holding its 70th general meeting on February 14. All bonafide citizens of the village have been requested to attend the meeting. Failure to attend the meeting would be penalized with `500 each as fine, the council added.
ZWS general meeting: Zeliang Welfare Society (ZWS) Peren has convened for general meeting on January 28 at 10am at the society building, eros lane Dimapur. All members along with 3 representatives from all towns and 2 representatives from all villages have been requested to attend the meeting.
MSU general conference: The 61st general conference of Mezoma Students’ Union will be held on January 24 and 25 at village hall, Mezoma, under the theme “Fulgens”. Minister for soil and water conservation, LRD, P. Longon will be the chief guest while Petevilie Khatsü, assistant director, UD will be the guest of honour. All bonafide members of MSU and citizens of Mezoma have been invited to the conference.
NPF Phek office bearers meeting: Meeting of 19th A/C NPF Phek office bearers including youth wing and women wing office bearers has been convened on January 25, 2pm at the residence of minister for health & family welfare Kuzholüzo Nienu, to discuss touring programme.
WDCC meeting: Wokha District Congress Committee (WDCC) has convened a joint meeting on January 27 at 10 am at its office premises.
Meeting re-scheduled: District Congress Committee, Peren has re-scheduled the first joint meeting to January 27. Time and venue would however remain the same, added DCC Phek.
PVC general meeting: Pongidong Village Council has convened its general meeting for the year 2011 on February 12 at Pongidong village community hall. All members have been requested to attend the meeting.
Registration for ANTA members: All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) has informed all taxi owners/drivers under Kohima unit to get their yearly registration for 2011-12 on or before March 2011. Failing which, association informed that a fine of `200 would be charged.
NSCN (K) revokes discharge order: NSCN (K) chairman has revoked the discharge order of “captain” Ziiso alias Thomas of Sepoumaramth region. Stating this in a press release, NSCN (K) spokesperson P. Tikhak has informed Ziiso to resume his duty immediately.
Co-operative bank clarifies: Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NSCB) clarified that nominations for filling up the board of directors were received for Dimapur and Longleng but the candidates withdrew their nominations.
