Modicare enters premium skin care market

Direct-selling company Modicare has launched its premium skin care product range to suit the Indian skin.
The Essensual 20 has three new products in the fairness range - a cleanser, a day cream and a night cream. These are priced between Rs.1200-1500.
According to K.K. Modi, chairman, Modicare limited, this launch signals a new and exciting phase for their product line and in a way they want to stay committed to meet the consumers’ needs.
“Through this range, we plan to penetrate into premium skin care market that will cater to niche consumer segment,” he said.
Modicare’s new product range comes after it had introduced 30 new products across nine categories in its beauty care, personal care and home care segment in September 2009.
This range has natural extracts like macadamia nut oil and jojoba oil to suit Indian skin type.
