Notes of gratitude

KVC: Khonoma Village Council (KVC) has expressed gratitude to 16th Assam Rifles under the command of Maj. P.M. Reddy for conducting free medical camp at Khonoma on January 18. Patients were given free medical treatment and medication.
MSU: Morakjo students’ union (MSU) has expressed gratitude to secretary, NSAMB C. Mozhui and Jenithung Shitiri for gracing the 27th general session-cum-election of the union as chief guest and theme speaker respectively. The union thanked all well-wishers, villagers and representatives from different units, youth association of Wokha, Kohima students’ union, Lungtsung students’ union, Pangti students’ union, and Sanis students’ union, for their support and president youth association Wokha Mhonbemo N. Ngullie for sponsoring the session.
KMC, KIN: Kuki Mimkut Committee (KMC) and the Kuki Inpi Nagaland (KIN)have extended gratitude to minister for health and family welfare Kuzholuzo Neinu for gracing the ‘Mimkut’ as chief guest on January 17 at Athibung. The two organizations also thanked the medical team for conducting a “health mela”, distributing medicines free of cost to the people of Athibung circle and for conducting seminar on mother & child health care; agriculture department for conducting seminar on agri products and distributing pesticides to farmers whose crops have been effected by rodent attacks; all the cultural troupes and participants; state government for sponsoring Kuki Mimkut 2011 with a sum of `7,50,000; and 9th IRB jazz band for their presentation during the festival.
