ATMA Dmu bags first place at R-Day

The Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Dimapur bagged the first place in the exhibition cum sale held on Republic Day at DDSC stadium, Dimapur, Wednesday.
The second place was bagged by DIC.
The exhibition cum sale stall was inaugurated by home minister Imchen Imkong, who was the chief guest for the occasion.
N. Wetsah, DAO & PD (ATMA), Dimapur stated a cash award of Rs.5000 each in individual category and Rs.10,000 each were awarded to 3 SHGs along with citations. The awardees include; bolster SHG Toheli (Aloevera Soap Making), Renlok SHG: Alemla (Mushroom, Aloevera Soap and Surf making), Hits Ripda: Dr. Inato (Public Private Partnership (PPP) who was awarded Rs.10, 000 each along with citation from the department.
In the individual category, Nihokhu Sumi (Areca plate making & other), Hukhevi Kiba (jute and others), Khekhazü Yepthomi and Khazhezu (pineapple and others), Hukhevi Achumi (diversified farming), Sani Chakre (cereal and oilseed), Arü Khate (dairy and piggery), Hekuto Wotsa (Jatropha and others), Beituo Thakro (aromatic plants). They were awarded with Rs.5000 cash along with citation from ATMA.
