Dimapur Gorkha Union: The Dimapur Gorkha Union (DGU) has expressed condolence on the sudden and tragic death of Laxmi Sharma daughter of Debu Sharma and Narola Jungshi on January 27. According to DGU, late Laxmi, 20 years was pursuing her degree in Mass Communication at Delhi at the time of the incident.
BSS: Bharat Sevashram Sangha (BSS) Dimapur branch has mourned the demise of general secretary BSS Kolkata, also one of the senior-most monks of BSS Srimat Swami Buddhanandaji Maharaj on January 26. BSS further expressed condolence to the bereaved family members.
ACU: The Angami Catholic Union has expressed grief at the demise of Rev. Fr. John Med, SDB on January 25. The union in a press release paid homage Rev. Fr. John Med for his contributions in the development of liturgical music in Nagaland, and expressed hope that music would continue to spread and his memory cherished.
NCYM: Nagaland Catholic Youth Movement has joined thousands of others in expressing grief and sorrow at the sad demise of Fr. John Med. According to NCYM, Fr. John Med was a multifaceted person, an apostle of the youth, and his special skill in music not only attracted the children and the youth but also his exemplary life had inspired many to follow Christ closely. In his death, NCYM stated it has lost a veteran youth animator, friend and guide and termed his death as an irreparable loss to all.
PDDA: Phek District Dobashis Association (PDDA) has mourned the demise of head DB Keweko Lea of Chobama village on January 22. The association conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members.
