Teachers’ interview postponed in 4 districts

: State education department Tuesday informed that interview for G/T and P/T in four districts of Tuensang, Mon, Longleng and Kiphire districts have been postponed to February 11 next, which was earlier scheduled to be held February 3. According to an official release issued by addl director N. Khevito Sema this decision arrived at a meeting convened with ENSF at the official residence of commissioner secretary school education. In the meeting it was “mutually agreed” that examination fee would be Rs.300 against each candidate, the school education addl director said, adding the last date of form submission was February 7 next. Notification issued earlier dated January 10, 2010, on relaxation order for candidates belonging to the six tribes under four districts, would continue further relaxation that preference will be given to candidates having 45% marks and above for G/T and P/T, said Sema. He, however, said that if there was no candidate under this category of P/T, those having 40% marks and above would also be given chance for selection of P/T. The additional director said other demands for declaration of results of the interview for G/T and P/T along with other districts and seat reservation against PSTE under DIET for fresh students would be taken up separately for policy decision by the government later.
