All units, president, general secretary and members of all Nagaland PWD field workers association (ANPWDFWA) PWD (R&B) and housing department unanimously resolved to affiliate with government departmental association.
This was resolved at ANPWDFWA, PWD (R&B) and housing department general meeting on January 7 at PWD rest house Dimapur under the chairmanship of ANPWDFWA president Inakhu Aye.
Deliberating on ROP case, the house resolved that out of 31 divisions PWD (R&B) and housing, and 27 divisions all work-charge employees were in need of ROP.
The house also discussed on its silver jubilee celebration.
In this regard, members have been informed to submit previous, present president and general secretary’s articles along with two copies of passport size photographs to the central office bearers for publication of magazine.
The house also discussed on regularization of all work charge employees and resolved to stick to memorandum submitted to the government and its letter to the deputy chief engineer and also to stick to 2003 election manifesto.
Further, 27 divisions were affiliated to PWD (R&B) and housing department. The divisions affiliated to PWD (R&B) include Dimapur, Peren, Pfutsero, Phek, Wokha, Baghty, Zunheboto, Aghunato, Atoizu, Changtongya, Tuensang, Mongkolemba, Feeder road Tuli, Longleng, Mon, Naginimora, Aboi, national highway 1 Kohima, RLC Dimapur and Pughuboto sub-division.
Divisions affiliated to housing department are: Kohima, Tuensang, Dimapur, Zunheboto, Peren and Wokha.
