Cash reward for govt school students

District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) Kohima will be awarding government high school students under Kohima district who secures Top 50 position in HSLC examination 2011 with a cash award of Rs.10,000 each with a citation. However, it added if no candidate makes it to the Top 50, the highest aggregate candidate with 1st division will be awarded Rs.5000 along with a citation.
The DPDB Kohima is initiating this venture to encourage and facilitate government high school students under Kohima district to strive harder and achieve better results. Students preparing for HSLC 2011 have been requested by the board to put more effort in their studies and avail this meritorious award in the presence of all board members.
