Jalukie Town Rongmei Baptist Church (JTRBC) has organized sports-day-cum-children’s day with C. Limala Pongen, a prominent social worker and religious leader as the chief guest.
While speaking at the inaugural function of the occasion, the chief guest referred to the biblical account of Ephesus (6:1-3) and exhorted both the parents and children to maintain mutual understanding and foster amicable ambience within the family.
She opined that home was the first and best institute to mould children towards their bright future and in this regard appealed the parents to extend concentrated care to their children in a proper and special way supplementing with their school teachers.
Limala also urged the children to respect and obey their parents and teachers always as it was the primary step to gain wisdom and knowledge. She said “only the obedient children can obtain distinctive merit and achieve their aspiration in the long run.”
Limala took the Biblical iconic examples of David, Joseph, Samuel and Daniel and exhorted the children to be good and God fearing in order to get abundant blessings from God.
The function was presided by Adina Pamei, opening prayer was pronounced by Pastor Hupi Kahmei, special song was presented by Abuanliu and Stephen.
