Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev on 2-day visit to Nagaland

Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev would be visiting Nagaland in the month of February, to conduct Yoga camps and counseling on various ailments, besides providing Ayurvedic treatment free of cost to the people.
This was informed to media persons on Saturday by Chief Central Coordinator of Patanjali Yogpith, Rakesh Kumar at town hall, Dimapur.
During his two-day visit (February 25 and 26), Baba Ramdev would tour Dimapur and Kohima.
On February 25 from 5am to 10:30am at DDSC Stadium, he would be disseminating information about the benefits of yoga to cure different ailments, besides training the people on yoga, breathing techniques, acupressure and herbal medicines.
According to Rakesh, around 30-40 Ayurvedic doctors from Haridwar would be visiting Nagaland to counsel and provide treatment to people free of cost.
He said out of 118 crore people in India, 70 crore suffer from diabetes, hypertension, thyroid etc., which does not have any permanent treatment despite modern medicines.
He further added these diseases can be controlled and cured with the help of Yoga and herbal medicines.
Informing that Baba Ramdev would be touring 640 districts of the country carrying the message of good health through the practice of Yoga, Rakesh Kumar said there would be a Yoga Camp in Dimapur from March 10 to 25 where people from Dimapur and adjoining areas would be invited and imparted Yoga training.
He also informed that prior to his visit at Dimapur, Baba Ramdev would conduct a Yoga camp at Bokajan at Karbi Anglong on February 24 from 3pm. to 4pm. and on February 26, he would conduct a camp at Assam Rifles Ground, Kohima.
