A new school of music-cum-recording studio with hostel attached was formally inaugurated at Purana Bazar on Saturday. Already 35 students have enrolled in the school with classes functioning under the school of music director Mhonyamo Kikon and assisted by seven board members. The school building was inaugurated by Pastor of Lotha Baptist Church Rev. C. Yanthan at a function attended by host of well-wishers.
Ababe Ezung, chairman chamber of commerce Kohima and J&P secretary and XL vice president speaking at the function as the chief guest acknowledged Mhonyamo Kikon’s humble beginnings and the hard labor he put in to set up the school. Short speeches were delivered by Jon Ezung, general manager DIC and Mhonlumo Kikon board chairman of the school.
