ENSF today said that four districts of eastern Nagaland would boycott the scheduled January 20 interview for the post of primary and graduate teachers as government has failed to implement relaxation notification. The ENSF has been urging and reminding the government to implement government relaxation notification order No.EDS/1-7/2008 dated, Kohima, January 9, 2009 for exemption of professional qualification i.e. PSTE/BE.D for appointment to the post of primary and graduate teachers exclusively for the six tribes of eastern Nagaland for a period of ten years subject to review/revoke/continuation. “The department has however failed to implement the Govt. Relaxation Order in favor of Eastern Nagaland People in letter and spirit in the scheduled interview i.e. on 20th of Jan.2011,” the ENSF, in a letter to the state school education director, said. The federation has also directed all its units to initiate boycott in respective jurisdiction, and added that it would firmly continue to fight for justice.
