Hundreds of believers attended the special evening with Dr. Joshua Daniel, Global Evangelist of Laymen’s Evangelical Fellowship International which started Sunday at State Academy Hall, Kohima.
Bringing his message, he said “our job as Christians is to show Jesus…if Jesus is hid, there will be no peace in your family, our churches will be entertainment halls, and there will be no hope for you and me”. He urged the congregation to truly take the word of God everywhere.
He lamented that Nagaland with its slogan, “Nagaland for Christ” has hidden Jesus. He said that it was a wonderful thing while observing that no state in this country has ever made such proclamation. Further he said “God will help you, He will use you and the blessings will spread to every state” is the slogan is practically used and that “the whole of Asia must say- Look at the Christians in Nagaland, their righteousness”.
He prayed that the people of Nagaland would be lifted and righteousness would rise in the state. However he also expressed concern about the kind of people the state was producing although, he expressed belief that “this state can produce great men and women of God and wonderful missionaries”.
Testimony was given by Chance while a male voice group from Chakhesang Baptist Church, Minister’s Hill Kohima which included MLA and Advisor, NRE, S&T, A&C, Deo Nukhu presented a special number.
