The three- day special evenings organized by Laymen’s Evangelical Fellowship International (LEFI) with global evangelist, Dr. Joshua Daniel concluded on Tuesday.
Bringing his message, Dr. Joshua Daniel expressed “Where there is the Spirit of God, it will bring unity, oneness and harmony”, and further stating the urgency of truly living by the state’s slogan, he said “It should not only be ‘Nagaland for Christ’ but ‘Asia for Christ’”.
He also spoke on importance of righteousness and truth as he was of the view that there was no righteousness in Nagaland.
He said hidden sin and murderous spirit have soaked Nagaland with blood while pointing out “This kind of spirit is from the jungle, evil spirit dividing man from man into divided groups”. This he said while referring to tribalism which is in the state and caste system of India in general.
Affirming that God demands holiness, he added “Where there is spirit of God, there is holiness.”
Also dwelling on repentance, he said preachers and leaders have to repent first and further expressed his desire to see the Holy Spirit working in Nagaland.
The special evening was marked with prayers, Bible study, music, testimonies and sharing word of God as hundreds of believers from every age group attended “The Lord’s Challenge” at State Academy Hall, Kohima.
Earlier, the evangelist’s wife, Lily also spoke to the congregation while Livingstone and Kedizelhou Rutsa shared their testimonies. Kohima Bible College Choir presented a special number.
Among those who attended the worship service were C. J. Ponraj, Principal Secretary, Home, Justice and Law and NAP Commandant Thizama.
