Subsequent to Nagaland College Principal’s Forum (NCPF)’s apprehension over implementation of online delivery of question papers at examination centre, the Dimapur Naga Students’ Union {DNSU} Thursday said it would be a “major blow” to those institutions where internet service are poor.
Maintaining that it will “dramatically hamper” the career of the students, the DNSu president Medovoi Medeo and general secretary K Mhachio Lotha in a statement queried whether the new system would be convenient to “our present state.”
Further, the union also expressed dismay that majority of students in Dimapur were yet to receive admission card, whilst the Nagaland University degree examination was not even a week away. “It mounts up more pressure to the students who are preparing for the forthcoming Examination,” the union members said, and urged NU authorities to be sincere, and that they should not make an “experiment over the career of the students.”
