Tuensang BS&G, cadets show service to humanity

Bharat Scout and Guides, Nu- Hen Open Troops and company Tuensang has been rendering philanthropic advice and services to the society, on various occasions.
Nu-Hen Open Troop & Coy Band Platoon also made record by participating in the first ever ‘band display’ at Sipongsang Baptist Youth Endeavour and Taknyu Baptist Church Golden Jubilee held in the month of December last year.
Some of the members of Bharat Scout & Guides, Nu- Hen Open Troops & company Tuensang are S/M S.N.Yanchu as Band Major, while the Bagpipers are M. Bamomongba, Yanchang (Nurul Islam), L. Hongsa, Lepla, Senti, Imlongchaba, Atula, Threnso, Ato, Yanchang, Kundang, Khumching.
Hanathong and Lanu plays the bass drum and tenor respectively, while S. Chingmak, M. Meren, Lesop, Elina, Tsoiniu, Chabou and Yohan plays the Sanre drum.
Nu-Hen Open Troop & Company band was founded by the eldest grandchild of late C. Nuchi Chang and Heinla Chang, born on January 17, 1974 to late Mr. & Mrs. N. Ramchu Chang in Tuensang town.
Nu-Hen Open Troops (SCOUTS) was founded in May 1, 2001 and gradually its movement spread widely with its nomenclature changed to Nu-Hen Open Troop & Company for both scouts and guides section.
A Marching Bagpipe Band Platoon was started on November 5, 2010 under the initiative of T/S M. Bamomongba, T/S S. Chingmak, T/S. Yanchang (Nurul Islam), T/S L. Hongsa, T/S A. Hanruthong, T/S M. Meren and A.S.M S.N.Yanchu Chang.
Marching Bagpipe Band Platoon was trained within a short span of time of the seven Tritiya Sopan Scouts and Band Major.
At present, it has a total strength of total 22 members i.e. 1 Band Major, 12 Bagpipers, 1 Bass Drummer, 1 Tenor Part and 7 Snare part (15 boys and 7 girls).
