ARWWA president visit ‘Touch of Hope’ orphanage

President of Assam Rifles Wives Welfare Association (ARWWA), Luxmi Roy visited families of personnel serving the Assam Rifles Training Centre and School at Sukhovi and Dimapur on Tuesday.
Roy witnessed the welfare activities being undertaken for the well being and progress of the families of Assam Rifles Training Centre and School at Sukhovi (ARTC&S).
Luxmi Roy also advised the families to strive towards self improvement and cultivate positive attitude towards life.
The president then visited ‘Touch of Hope’ orphanage, Sukhovi run by Meren and wife to help the needy and the underprivileged. Meren and his wife are presently looking after 22 orphans between the age of 3 to 12 years.
President of Assam Rifles Wives Welfare Association, who was visibly moved while interacting with the children, made a personal contribution towards the orphanage and presented a water purification system on behalf of all the ladies.
