Chuba Chang accentuates on honey bee preservation

MLA & member AICC, P. Chuba Chang on Tuesday stressed on the importance of preserving honey bees, seeing that it is the main source of income.
Speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration of common facility-cum-manual honey processing unit at Chendang village, P. Chuba, said Chendang village has been blessed with production of so many vegetables, honey bees and various kinds of other edible items which he said must be utilized in a proper way. Pointing out that peaceful environment was the prerequisite for development; Chang said cooperation must exist amongst one another in order to survive in a peaceful way.
He also suggested to the people of Chendang village to support their children’s education by selling vegetables, honey bee products and other basic needs. The MLA while lauding Nagaland Beekeeping Honey Mission for providing and bringing positive development to the people urged the department to continue with the good will mission towards the people even in the days to come. The programme was attended by DCC officials of Tuensang, ACCC and former members of Tuensang Town Council.
Meanwhile, Chendang village also expressed gratitude to NBHM under land resources development department for bringing community development in the village and further hoped there would be more sponsorship even in future. Bengshang chairman VBKC, M.W. Chingmak president Citzen Union and Y. Yongkhong WDT Member LRDD also spoke on the occasion. The programme was chaired by Namang assistant teacher, while invocation was proposed by Naong Women Leader CBC.
