The 20th ACCC Meluri division alleged that the monthly kerosene oil allocated for Meluri subdivision has not been made available to the public since 2003. A press release issued by the 20th ACCC president Reisoupa Kajiri pointed out that as per the order dated April 26, 2010 vide No.PK/SKO-10/2010-11/4-7 issued by assistant director F&CS, Phek, it was approved by DC Phek and signed by superintendent F&CS for allocation of 12,000 litres of kerosene per month. However the same has not been made available to the public since 2003, it said. The 20th ACCC president in this regard, urged the authority in-charge to look into the matter for the benefit of the public.
