MKGBSU emergency meeting: Mech Kachari GBs Union (MKGBSU), East Dimapur has convened an emergency meeting on February 27, 8am at the residence of its president.
PSU emergency meeting: Pochury Students’ Union (PSU) has convened an emergency meeting on February 25, 10am at Pochury HoHo Kohima building. All NGOs, leaders, unit representatives and senior citizens have been requested to attend the meeting.
ZSUN 4th presidential council: Zeliangrong Students’ Union Nagaland (ZSUN) would be holding its 4th presidential council on February 25, 1pm at town hall Jalukie, Peren district. All president and secretary of federal unit and sub-ordinate bodies, senior leaders, tribunals ZSUN, Zeliangrong frontal organization and public leaders have been requested to attend the meeting.
ANGDA (CC) 31st general meeting: All Nagaland Government Drivers Association, Central committee (ANGDA) (CC) has convened its 31st general body meeting on February 26, 10am at CANSSEA conference hall. All members of ANGDA have been requested to attend the meeting. The association further informed all ANGDA members to submit their yearly membership fee for the year 2011.
Renewal of trade licence: Adhoc town council, East Dimapur, Hq. Purana bazaar has informed business establishments of all categories, advertisements agencies, hoarding of any agency within the jurisdiction of ATC, East Dimapur to renew their trade licence and permit from the office before March 15 to avoid any inconvenience.
ANRSAA meeting: All Nagaland Regular Sectional Assistants’ Association (ANRSAA) has convened a meeting on March 18, 10:30am at PWD housing. All district and sub-district units, chairman and secretary have been requested to attend the meeting. Further, the association has requested all Regular Sectional Assistant (RSA) to submit the yearly membership fee to central officers for office maintenance.
DMC inform sand dealers: Basing on complaints received from the consumers regarding sand adulteration, the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) market rate control cell has convened a meeting of all sand dealers on February 28, 11am to discuss matters pertaining to business functioning and actual cost of price from sources supported by invoice and other documents.
Board of governors Tuli College meet: The general meeting of the board of governors of Tuli College will be held on March 4 at Tuli Town hall, 10am.
Reorientation training for teachers: Ten days reorientation training for teachers on ‘New Pedagogy’ was held at EBRC Aghunato. The resource persons for the training were assistant coordinator Nitoshe, TOTs Pitoho, Inakali, Kheviho and Katoshe. Some of the issues discussed during the training were lesson planning on different subjects, TLM, ECCE, evaluation etc.

Seminar on ‘Right to Education’: Principal DIET Dimapur has informed all the principals/headmasters/head of the institutions both government and private high schools under Dimapur district to attend a seminar on ‘Right to education’ organized by SCERT and DIET Dimapur on February 25, 10am at town hall, Dimapur.
KBA Sunday school teachers training: Kuki Baptist Association (KBA) education department would be organizing a Sunday school teachers training at Mission Centre Khaibung, Medziphema from February 25 to 27. All Sunday school superintendents and teachers have been informed to attend the training.
TGUK general meeting: Tesophenyu Group Union Kohima (TGUK) annual general meeting would be held on February 26, 9am at Tesophenyu fellowship (Kenuozou). The house would also elect new team of office bearers.
IPPI on Feb 27: Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Kohima has informed that Intensive Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) for all children from 0-5 years would be administered on February 27. All parents, community leaders, women representatives, youth representatives, Church leaders and colonies under Kohima district have been requested to mobilize children to avail polio vaccine at the nearest polio booth.
SAKK meeting: Sumi Aphuyemi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu (SAKK) has convened a meeting on February 28, 11 am at NSF Conference hall, Kohima.
Sekrenyi at Mokokchung: Tenyimi Students’ Union Mokokchung (TSUM) would be celebrating their first Sekrenyi cum cultural celebration on February 26 at town hall, Mokokchung. The celebration would be graced by Imkong L Imchen, home minister, Nagaland. The daylong celebration have been divided into two sessions. TSUM has invited all bonafide Tenyimi members in and around Mokokchung district to attend the program in traditional attire.
RASU thanksgiving: Ralan Area Students’ Union (RASU) held a felicitation and thanksgiving programme on February 20 at the residence of Lichio Kithan, Bor-Lingri. RASU stated that the programme was organized honouring Subenthung Kithan, for being the first president of Kyong students’ union from Ralan area. RASU further thanked Lichio Kithan, chairman, Ralan area Lotha Hoho for hosting the programme.
Kohima BSG building committee meeting: Kohima district Bharat Scouts & Guides (BSG) building committee has convened an emergency meeting on March 1, 11am at the office chamber of district education officer (DEO) Kohima.
Health awareness yoga camp: Patanjali Yog Samiti and Bharat Swabhiman Trust Kohima unit would be organizing a five-day long health awareness camp with renowned yog Rishi Baba Ramder Maharaj from February 26 to March 2, 4.40am-8am every morning at 16th Assam Rifles ground Kohima. Free ayurvedic medical treatment camp would also be conducted at 16th Assam Rifle ground on February 26 by 25 ayurvedic doctors from Patanjali Yog Peeth Haridwar from 9am to 2pm.
YUKT emergency meeting: Yimchunger Union Kohima Town (YUKT) has convened an emergency meeting on February 26, 2.30pm at the residence of its treasurer. All union office bearers, executive bodies and advisors have been requested to attend the meeting.
NRDSA conference: Nagaland Rural Development Service Association (NRDSA) conference would be held on March 2, 11 am at Hotel Japfü, Kohima under the theme, “Sustainable development” with S. Pangnyu Phom, parliamentary secretary, RD and SIRD as chief guest. All association members have been requested to attend the conference.
New creation ministry at Sekrüzu: Oasis Training Centre, a new creation ministry at Sekrüzu, under Chozouba sub-division, Phek was inaugurated by CBCC executive secretary Rev. Vezopa Tetseo on February 8. According to an official bulletin, the training centre would strive to inspire training and counseling parents, children, church workers and leaders, poor and needy persons to bring a change in society.
Career guidance for students: Peace Channel, Dimapur would be organizing passion for excellence programme from March 17-19 for students aspiring for higher studies and jobs. The three day capacity building programme for students who have just completed their board and degree examination would be trained on career guidance and planning, goal setting, leadership, public speaking, interview skills and mock interview followed with practical sessions. Veterinary dept informs: Veterinary department Dimapur has informed that it would be implementing meat production programme through livestock and poultry breeding scheme under Public Private Participation (PPP) basis for 2010-11. All interested progressive farmers including those who applied for assistance in livestock development earlier have been informed to collect necessary forms along with annexure from district veterinary office Dimapur from February 25. Last date for submission of duly filled in forms would be March 3.
MVC lauds GPRN/NSCN: Model Village Council (MVC), 5th Mile Dimapur has appreciated GPRN/NSCN “ministry of law and justice” for delivering “final solution” to land dispute between Model village and R. Sopu. A joint press note issued by MVC chairman Hosal Tsukru and village head GB Pulozhol thanked the GPRN/NSCN for the “judgment and order” dated November 25, 2010 passed by its judiciary court, which they stated, upheld decisions given earlier by Chakhroma Public Organization and Angami Public Organization.
