Zeliangrong Baudi,(Assam, Manipur & Nagaland) the apex body of Zeliangrong people has expressed dismay over the “non-committal attitude” of NSCN/GPRN towards the genuine concerns of the Zeliangrong people with regard to reorganization of Zeliangrong region by NSCN/GPRN. While expressing gratitude for the past substantial administrative reforms in the region, the Zeliangrong Baudi however stated it was appalled by the stand taken by NSCN/GPRN towards division of the land and its people. Articulating that the collective leadership was for reconciliation and untied struggle for self determination and whose history of struggle for freedom dated back before the beginning of Naga freedom struggle, Zeliangrong Baudi (AMN) general secretary K. Elu Ndang lamented that the authority of the region was facilitating “disintegration” of a “united family”. Further stating the “wound of social and geographical division” of the people by Indian Government into three states of its union had not been amalgamated; Zeliangrong Baudi (AMN) indicted the NSCN/GPRN looked to divide very fabric of family by dividing the people into cognate groups. As per resolution No.3 of its central executive meeting, Zeliangrong Baudi (AMN) said it would deal with a befitting response towards any divisive element and would not co-operate with the organization.
