LKM discuss issues relating to its range

Langpangkong Range Students’ Conference (LKM) held an executive cum consultative meeting with seniors, at Asangma village on February 26, where it deliberated issues pertaining to the forthcoming 30th LKM general conference cum tournament to be hosted by Asangma village and other important issues relating to Langpangkong range.
LKM extended gratitude to the government for extending the National Highway 61 road from Amguri gate to Tzüsangra (Tuli) to two lane road and also urged the department to complete the ongoing project with proper workmanship as per guidelines given by government. LKM also expressed apprehension for the late tender-call for repairing of National Highway 61 road from Tuli to Merangkong village lying in pathetic condition and appealed the department in-charge as well as the government to expedite the process and commence necessary repairing works without further delay.
In regard to rehabilitation of defunct Tuli Paper Mill, LKM after thorough deliberation made an earnest appeal to government of Nagaland and management of HPC Ltd. to put a renewed effort for the approval of the new DPR and process for the revival of NPPC Ltd. for the benefit of Nagas.
The meeting resolved to appoint a committee for late Pangersowa Award Trust and also decided to work hand in hand with the Asangma village council, planning committee and Asangma Students’ Union for the successful celebration LKM general conference cum tournament.The house also congratulated Sentitola, daughter of late N. Imsujungba of Chuchuyimlang village on achieving IFS.
