The NCP Nagaland Youth Wing has termed the statement made by NPCC president S.I. Jamir against chief minister Neiphiu Rio in handling ENPO’s demand and showing indifference to ENPO leaders as ‘politically immature’. A press release issued by general secy (Adm) NCP Youth Wing Janbemo Humtsoe pointed out that creation of new state in India still remained under Article 3 of the Constitution where it empowered union parliament to re-organise the states by a simple Amendment procedure and essence where the affected state may express their views but cannot resist the will of the Parliament.Stating state chief minister Neiphiu Rio had taken keen interest to Eastern Nagas especially in the field of socio-economic development and even ENPO’s demand, NCP Nagaland Youth added the ENPO’s demand for ‘Frontier Nagaland’ was genuine and that any political party leaders or citizens should not consider ENPO’s demand as an issue or grievance.
