Zbto VCC meeting
DIMAPUR: Meeting of Zunheboto village council chairmen and head GB has been convened on February 9,11am at Zunheboto town hall. According to EAC Zakabo V Rotokha, the meeting has been convened in connection with census phase II. All members have been informed to attend the meeting.
DIMAPUR: Prayer –cum- orientation of all prayer and counselor members of the upcoming Nagaland Prayer Festival 2011has been convened on February 8,10am to 1pm at Chakhesang Baptist Church, Dimapur. Further, all organising committee and sub-committee members of Nagaland prayer festival 2011 have been requested to attend the consultation meeting on February 8, 3pm at Eastern Bible College, Bank colony, Dimapur.
Lost and found
DIMAPUR: A motorcycle (Pulsar) bearing registration number NL-06-6927 was found and has been retained at Chumukedima town. Rightful owner has been informed to claim the bike through Longa at mobile number 9862165716.
BKD annual session
DIMAPUR: Annual session of Benreului Kangbau Dimapur (BKD) would be held on February 8, 9am at the residence of Paukwerang Reunim, over bridge colony Burma camp, Dimapur. All members of Benreului living in Dimapur have been informed to attend the session.
CSDD appeals
DIMAPUR: Consumer Society Dimapur District (CSDD) has appealed to the superintendent of food and civil supplies Dimapur to display DISTT consumer related information (2011-12) through the department notice boards or department media under transparent public distribution system schemes. CSDD stated display of DISTT consumer related information was necessary especially for the ongoing Census 2011 drive and for the convenience of the consumers.
PVC grateful
DIMAPUR: Philimi village council (PVC) has expressed gratitude to PHE department for facilitating water supply to the village. Stating that water supply to the village was the long felt need of the villagers, PVC thanked engineer Inashe for taking initiatives and expressed hope that such developmental activities would also be initiated in future.
Meluri cultural day
DIMAPUR: The 33rd cultural session of Meluri would be held on February 18 and 18 at Meluri. The cultural session would be graced by parliamentary secretary, law and justice, Yitachu as chief guest on the first day while Deo Nukhu, advisor, science and technology, NRE, art and culture will be the chief guest on the second day of the cultural programme.
Dimensions book launch
DIMAPUR: Rhythms and reasons, a poetry book comprising of 63 poems would be launched at Oxford Book Store Chennai on February 7. The book would be released by Rev. Dr. A. M. Chinnappa, Archbishop of Chennai and Mylapore and Noel Manuel, director of Dimensions as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
Kohima Press Club membership renewal
DIMAPUR: All members of Kohima Press Club have been informed to renew their membership for the year 2011-2012 by paying Rs. 100 and Rs. 200 for fresh registration and submit the same to treasurer, KPC on or before February 28.
VEC Day in Phek
DIMAPUR: Village Education Committee (VEC) Day 2011 organized by Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, district mission authority, Phek would be held on February 17, 10:30am at Phek town hall, Phek. The programme would be held on the theme ‘Celebrating Communitisation’ with minister health and family welfare Kuzholuzo Nienu as the guest speaker. Ehortation would be delivered by deputy commissioner Phek and chairman, district mission authority, SSA Mikha Lomi. All VEC chairmen and member secretary in the district have been asked to compulsory attend the programme. Transportation and lunch will be provided by the DMA.
Merit list of CT/GD in CRPF declared
DIMAPUR: Final merit list of selected candidates (category-wise) for the post of CT/GD in CRPF recruited in Chumukedima for the year 2010 and final merit list of general category of CT/GC (male 2010) including reserve category candidates who have not availed any relaxation have been declared. For further details, candidates can contact commandant 173 BN CRPF.
