A two week entrepreneurship development programme under PMEGP scheme and general EAP and EDP began from February 8 at Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) branch office Peren.
More than fifty participants from Dimapur, Wokha, Longleng, Kiphire and Kohima district have joined the programme at Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) branch office in Dimapur for PMEGP, while more than hundred participants have joined Peren for EAP and EDP.
At the inaugural programme, assistant director Khadi and village industry commission (KVIC) highlighted on importance of the programme and enlightened participants on various government schemes and business opportunities in Nagaland.
He also requested participants to timely recover the sanctioned loan amount as it proves helpful to the next generation and in running the government schemes successfully.
The inaugural programme was attended by M. Senthy Jamir, ADO, KVIC, KVIB, PMEGP in-charge Longleng as the guest of honour and Pranjal Kr. Das, PIO, Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE).
The programme is being organised by Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) in Dimapur which is a national institute under the ministry of micro, small and medium enterprise, government of India and sponsored by, Dimapur KVIC.
