Vety camp at Heningkunglwa sub-division

The 20 Assam Rifles under the aegis of 5 sector AR under IGAR (N) organised a veterinary camp-cum medical camp at Ngwalwa village ground.
The camp was inaugurated by commandant, 20 Assam Rifles in presence of Lt. Col SS Balaje, Lt. Col Vinay Mishra, EAC Jalukie sub-division and the village council members of Ngwalwa, Heningkunglwa, Gaili, Punglwa and Razephema.
Specialist doctors and staff of 14 mob hospital attended to all animals including pets.
A total of five villages participated in the camp wherein 1100 cattle, goats, pigs, dogs, poultry and other pets were treated and a total of 375 people were provided with medical treatment.
Booklets on freedom from HIV and AIDS were also distributed. Meanwhile, the villagers have expressed gratitude to 20 Assam Rifles and 14 mobile field veterinary hospital for organising the free veterinary camp.
