GPRN/NSCN warns; terminates 3

Citing a number of reports about the activities of business establishments and commercial outlets selling banned/restricted items clandestinely at exorbitant rates, the Crime Control Cell (CCC) GPRN/NSCN has warned of penalization as per the gravity of the crime. CCC secretary GPRN/NSCN, Z Lhokuto Chishi also warned those outlets selling adulterated locomotive oil and edible products. The GPRN/NSCN said there were also concrete proof that restricted items were being smuggled in from outside by black marketeers and profiteers giving rise to crime and corruption in and around Dimapur. It said that the CCC shall strictly monitor and arrest unscrupulous elements who were threatening the health, safety and security of the general public. Meanwhile, GPRN/NSCN Naga army has terminated one ‘Capt.’ Visheto Sumi son of Honizu, hailing from Thokihi Village, Sumi Region for conniving with enemies to betray the Naga nation. ‘Major Gen.’ Niki Sumi, second-in-command, 3rd Brigade, Naga Army in the termination order said the cadre’s dishonorable intention did not merit his continuation in the national service. He was terminated with effect from February 10. ‘Col.’ Aheto Chophy, camp commander also issued termination orders to ‘L/Corporal’ Ashong, daughter of Khaoshini hailing from Padsho village under Khiamnungan Region and ‘Private’ Avitoli Sumi daughter of Khuveshe hailing from Surumi village, Sumi Region for their indulgence in immoral activities which utterly went against ahza of the nation. The two have been terminated order with effect from February 2.
