TDATA 1st session executive meeting: Tuensang District Ahdoc Teachers’ Association (TDATA) has convened its 1st session executive meeting on February 16, 12 noon at the residence of its treasurer. All office bearers, executive members and unit president have been requested to attend the meeting.
ZSUN 4th presidential council meeting: Zeliangrong Students’ Union Nagaland (ZSUN) has convened its 4th presidential council meeting on February 25, 1pm at Jalukie town hall. All president and secretary or representatives of units and sub-ordinate units, senior leaders and tribunal have been requested to attend the meeting.
HIS beneficiaries Niuland informed: All beneficiaries of health insurance scheme under Niuland area have been asked to report to functional manager sub-DIC Niuland office on February 17 and 18 along with card for renewal and inter-action with the coordinators of Health Insurance Scheme (HIS). All GBs and village council chairmen have been requested to send their village HIS beneficiaries.
YUK annual general meeting: Yimchungrii Union Kohima (YUK) has convened an annual general meeting on February 16, 10am at the residence of its union treasurer, below Mount College Kohima.
PHD annual general assembly: Poumai Hoho Dimapur (PHD) has convened an annual general assembly on February 12, 9:30am at Poumai Baptist church hall.
KDSUD emergency meeting: Kiphire District Sumi Union Dimapur (KDSUD) unit and Kohima unit has convened a joint emergency meeting on February 13, 2pm at circuit house, conference hall Dimapur.
ENSU, PCC silver jubilee: Eastern Nagaland Students’ Union (ENSU) of Patkai Christian College (PCC) would be celebrating silver jubilee on February 12 at 11am.
IVR Dimapur selects VCM, VDB: Village council of Industrial Village Razhüphe, Dimapur held a meeting on February 5 and selected 22 new council members to be led by T. L. Angami as chairman and Keneingulie as secretary, and 7 new VDB members headed by Tali Ao as secretary.
APHUJ general meeting: All Private Hostels’ Union, Jakhama, (APHUJ) comprising of about 50 hostels, catering specially to the students of St. Josephs College, Jakhama held a general meeting on the January 29. The union discussed many issues pertaining to the welfare of the union members and students’ community. The union also deliberated on the issue of price rise and inflation on food items and other materials and proposed a nominal hike in the hostel fees from this academic session 2011.
Pattadars under military occupation meet: A meeting of land owners, pattadars whose lands are under the occupation of army, military, para-military in and around Dimapur would be held on February 19, 11 am at Hotel Saramati. The meeting is intended to discuss various issues pertaining to occupied land and to submit representation to the Government of India for further necessary action.
Lower PWD Panchayat office bearers: Lower PWD Panchayat colony has elected new office bearers for the tenure 2011 to 2013 with Satsu Angami-chairman, Sashi Pongen-vice chairman, Puvezo Puro- general secretary, Lorhii-joint secretary, H. Dozo- finance secretary and Dziesevituo Angami-treasurer.
Sekrenyi at Mokokchung: Tenyimi Students Union Mokochung would celebrate 1st Sekrenyi cum cultural celebration under the them “Our culture and identity” on February 26, 10.30 am at Town Hall Mokokchung with Imkong L. Imchen, home minister as chief guest.
Mon DPDB meeting: Mon DPDB meeting cum picnic would be held on February 15, 12noon at the fishery pond of president, Konyak Union, Chen Road (Yuhcing). Members have been requested to arrange their own transportation. Departure from Mon town will be at am.
LGOA meeting: The meeting of the executive members and district functionaries of Lotha Gazetted Officers’ Association (LGOA) has been convened on February 16, 10.30 am at the Conference Hall of Indian Red Cross Society Building, Kohima.
PGK general meeting: A general meeting cum selection of Office bearers for the tenure 2010-2014 of Phisami Ghami Kuqhakulu (PGK) would be held on February 18, 9. 30 am at Phisami village. Meanwhile, a meeting of the present office bearers would be held on February 17.
ZRSU supplies water to students: In view of school and colleges examination in Zunheboto town, Zunheboto Range Students’ union would be supplying water in colonies starting February 11 to 13. The union stated it was distributing water since the town is faced with acute water supply.
