Funeral service of R. Subongtemjen Ao: The funeral service of R. Subongtemjen Ao of Mokokchung village will be held at his residence at Dilong Ward, Mokokchung at 10am on March 11. Subongtemjen died at IMD Hospital, Mokokchung on March 10. He was 99 years old.

DTO Dimapur revenue collection: In view of allegation recieved by the department from several public, the enforcement wing under District Transport Office Dimapur stated it has collected a revenue of Rs.6, 46, 250 as compounding fees during November 2010 and February 2011 from Dimapur. DTO added the compounding fees were collected during intermittent suprise checking within the district.

AR inaugrate water storage tank: Commandant 13 Assam Rifles under 5 Sector of Inspector General Assam Rifles (North), inaugurated a water storage tank under Military Civic Action project at Logwesunyu village on March 7. The handing over ceremony was attended by officials of civil administration, chairman Shoyhunlo Khing and David Khing, Head GB of Logwesunyu village, stated a defence release.
DC Wokha laud census officials: Deputy commissioner, Wokha, Rovilatuo Mor has extended gratitude to all officials of census machinery involved viz, district officers, charge officers, supervisors, enumerators and clerical staff on the successful completion of first and second phase of general census enumeration 2011. DC also thanked the NGO’s of the district led by Kyong Hoho, Kyong Student’s Union, GB’s Association who came forward for sensitization and mobilization of public opinion for realistic enumeration, braving all odds and motivated arguments in the process.
