: Tenyidie post graduate students’ union (TPGSU) Saturday requested the Nagaland University authority to declare the interview result of Linguistics and Tenyidie literatures, conducted in October 10, 2009.
According to TPGSU, the Tenyidie department of the NU as well as the student community has been submitting representation for declaration of interview results, however it said the university authority has failed to give any positive response.
Stating that Tenyidie department has been facing shortage of faculty all these years, the TPSGU said students were at the receiving end where their right to education was deprived of. “The students’ career cannot be played upon and the patience is at the saturation point,” the NU Tenyidie students said.
Meanwhile, the Tenyidie PG students cautioned that they would be compelled to pursue any kind of action if the authority failed to meet the demands put forth by Tenyidie department students March 2, 2011, adding they will not be held responsible if any untoward incidents occurred.
