NMDA on harmful drugs

Referring to the Gazette Notification of the government of India on February 10, 2011, the Nagaland Medicine Dealers Association (NMDA) has informed all its members to immediately stop selling a number of drugs which are harmful to the human body. The harmful drugs are: Nimesulide; Cisapride; Phenylpropanolamine; Human Plasental Extract; Sibutramine and R-Sibutramine. NMDA in a joint statement issued by its president, A. Ato Yepthomi and general secretary Basu Damani has advised all retailers to return the mentioned products to the wholesalers. Further, the wholesalers were also advised to return the mentioned products to the companies within one week.
