Safeguard law and order: Kipili

Large number of NPF supporters from 59 A/C Seyochung-Sitimi Constituency (Kiphire) assembled at public ground Kiphire at the felicitation program organized by 59th A/C NPF party to welcome the new comers into the NPF fold.
Speaking at the program as chief guest MLA, chairman NSMDC and chairman DPDB Kiphire C. Kipili Sangtam who is from 59 A/C said as people’s representative, he would continue serving the people and also urged the public to select a farsighted leader while at the same time requested them to safeguard law and order situation in the village so as to bring about development in the village.
He expressed gratitude to chief minister Neiphiu Rio for granting 2% job reservation to the Sumis of Kiphire district.
As a leader, he said, development should be the dream for the people, and that one should not make false promises.
Stating that Kiphire district is home to a number of tribes, Kipili said one should be careful while making a statement to avoid disparity.
Working president, NPF Apong Pongener who was the guest of honour said political revival has arrived in Nagaland.
He also illustrated the party flag and said the color red sybmolised power, white as peace and blue as prosperity and development.
“National party high Command is in Delhi, whereas, regional Party high command is the people of the respective constituency”, he affirmed.
The program was chaired by office bearers of the NPF59 A/C Seyochung-Sitimi, invocation by Chopongkyu Pastor KTBL, special numbers by Rothongkyu and Zhekheto Sumi.
59 A/C NPF Unit presidents, other leaders and new comers also spoke at the program, besides T.L Merry vice president NPF and Kakuto Shohe president youth wing.
