DDCF felicitates Rev. Dr. Wati Aier

The Dimapur District Citizen Forum (DDCF) has felicitated Rev. Dr. Wati Aier on receiving the ‘2011 Denton and Janice Lotz Human Rights award’ by Baptist World Alliance.
The Forum while hailing Aier for trying to bring about ‘reconciliation’ among the Nagas as well as the underground factions also extended their unflinching support to FNR.
The Forum further hoped that the venture of bringing a summit among the top Naga underground leaders by the FNR would be fulfilled.
Meanwhile, Nagaland Baptist Church Council has congratulated Rev. Dr. Wati Aier on being receiving BWA Denton and Janice Lotz Human Rights Award.
The Council in a press released issued by general secretary Rev. Dr. Anjo Keikung expressed its pride knowing Aier was chosen as one of the recipients of the prestigious Award.
The Council acknowledged his relentless effort towards reconciliation and wished God’s continuous blessings would be upon him and his ministry.
Further, Naga Women Soul Winners’ Fellowship (NWSWF), New Ministers’ Hill, Kohima has congratulated Rev. Dr. Wati Aier, convener, Forum for Naga Reconciliation on receiving award from Baptist World Alliance (BWA) for historic reconciliation on the Naga journey of common hope.
In a release the fellowship said it has been praying continuously for peace and reconciliation of Naga people in a corner of Nagaland and thanked God for Rev. Dr. Wati, a spiritual and an able public leader with great personality”.
The Naga Women Soul Winners’ Fellowship also appealed the Nagas irrespective of tribe to rededicate themselves to show solidarity in letter and spirit till the destination of Naga journey of Common hope was fulfilled.
