Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio would be visiting Molungyimsen village on March 18 to inaugurate Dr. Clark light tower and pilgrim road and also address a public meeting.
Rev. Dr. L Anjo Keikung would deliver speech on role of Dr. Clark in the history of the Nagas on the occasion.
According to an official bulletin, the 135 year old village under Mokokchung district, where the first Christian Missionary to the Naga Hills, Dr E.W. Clark laid foundation to carry on missionary works in the Naga Hills but to rewrite the history of the Nagas is fast emerging as one of the attractive tourist spots in the state particularly to Christians.
The oldest litchi tree planted by Dr. Clark which still stands in the village, bears testimony of his missionary works.
