Two killed in road mishap

Two persons were killed, another two injured when the vehicle in which they were traveling went off the road and fell into a gorge near Chunglikha village on Kohima-Wokha road Friday afternoon. According to police, the four occupants of the Tata Indica (NL-07 6117) were coming from Dimapur and proceeding towards Zunheboto when the accident took place. The deceased include the driver and a co-passenger were identified as Vikuto Sumi and Hotoka Chophy both hailing from Kevikhu village under Satakha Police Station, Zunheboto. One of the injured identified as Akato Chophy was reportedly being treated at the Primary Health centre at Chunglikha while the other injured whose identity is not known was reportedly taken to Wokha civil hospital. The condition of both the injured was stated to be out of danger. The accident reportedly took placed at around 1 pm and the vehicle fell into a gorge about some 30 foot below the road.
