Dilip Nunisa, chairman Dima Halam Daogha (DHD), on behalf of his organization constructed a school for the poor kids of Dhansiri locality near Diphu, dominated by Dimasa community.
Nunisa inaugurated the newly constructed school building at Daodikho Friday. The fund for construction of the school building was donated by the DHD Gr-I.
A public meeting was held in this connection where DHD chairman attended as chief guest, along with his “comrades” R.S. Dimasa, chief organizing secretary, Mukesh Diphusa, publicity secretary DHD, Dilip Diphusa, chief advisor ADSU, Pradip Diphusa, and SGB and GBs of the area.
Addressing the gathering, Dilip Nunisa expressed dissatisfaction over the governments’ apathy towards the villagers living in Daodikho areas.
He alleged that the people living in the Daodikho area have been deprived from the basic needs, which he said, is a kind of human right violation. He asserted that the DHD has been giving importance for the improvement of education in the region.
Meanwhile, Nunisa also appealed to the central government to solve the longstanding demand of the people living under the Dimaraji for establishing peace and initiate development.
It may be mentioned that four villages- Jaramdisa, Dibradisao, Jamarling and Daodikho have large population but lacks basic amenities of life.
The DHD chairman laid the foundation stone for Tularam Senapati Memorial College at Dhansiri. He also inaugurated the newly constructed gateway memorial park developed to commemorate the contribution of the Dimasa kings in constructing a large perennial lake, the Shivnagar.
