Amway ‘Nanhe Chitrakaar’ painting competition

Amway Opportunity Foundation (AOF) organized ‘Nanhe Chitrakaar’ annual painting competition for children with the theme ‘wild life and environment’ on Saturday at Dimapur.
Aptly christened ‘Nanhe Chitrakaar’, it was a Pan India annual painting competition for children organized under the patronage of Amway opportunity foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of Amway India.
The painting competition drew overwhelming response from Amway Business Owner (ABO) parents in Dimapur. Over 50 children of Amway business owners participated at the competition.
Wildlife and environment, the theme of the competition captured the fancy of children on canvas with a riot of colours.
The competition was organized in two categories of 4 to 7 years and 8 to 12 years. Amway opportunity foundation also involved the children from Ebenezer Orphanage Home, the sunrise partner of Amway opportunity foundation to add to colors to ‘Nanhe Chitrakaar’. This year, AOF is organizing ‘Nanhe Chitrakaar’ in as many as 70 locations in India. AOF has tied-up with arts teachers from schools in each of these cities to be judges. Amway Opportunity Foundation will send the best three paintings in each category to Amway cooperation in Ada, USA.
The paintings will be also printed in greeting cards.
The painting competition under 4 to 7 years category, first, second and third prize were won by Carne A Raja, Diksha Agarwal and John.
Under 8 to 12 years category, the first, second and third prizes were bagged by Koina Dutta, Kelvin A Raja and Sherry Jindal respectively.
