Workers and supporters of Congress party from various villages along with H. Haiying former RJD candidate 56 Noklak A/C conducted a consultative meeting on March 12 at Noklak town. The meeting deliberated issues such as the current state of affairs of the Congress party in the constituency. The house decided to continue working steadfastly to rejuvenate the party to fulfil the faith and responsibility reposed by the party leaders during the last Lok Sabha election. Party members from Khonyu Pangsha village, Thangem Noku village, Puchong Noklak town in a press release appealed the ACC, DCC, Tuensang to seriously take up necessary action against issuing of Congress membership to those already applied through respective VCC without delay. The members also decided not to involve or interfere in any manner in the current election of village councils and its chairman but to allow them to elect any capable persons of their choice without any party affinity.
Further, the members congratulated Dr. S.C Jamir former governor on being inducted into CWC by INC Delhi and also conveyed its best wishes.
