AR constructs hall, centre at Namsa, Yoting vill

A community hall at Namsa village, Mon district was inaugurated on March 3 by the 6 Assam Rifles. The project was constructed by 6 Assam Rifles, as part of Assam Rifles Military Civic Action Project under the aegis of Headquarter 7 Sect Assam Rifles.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by officials of both military and civil administration including village chief/secretary of the village. Speaking on the occasion, Col Rajesh Gajraj, Comdt, 6 Assam Rifles reiterated the commitment of Assam Rifles towards the progress of the local tribal population both in infrastructural and social fronts.
Meanwhile, a community centre at Yoting village, Mon district was inaugurated on March 7 by 6 Assam Rifles. The project was taken up as part of Army Military Civic Action Project (OP Samaritan) under the aegis of Headquarter 7 Sector Assam Rifles.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by officials of both military and civil administration including village chief /secretary of the village.
The project was conceptualized by Assam Rifles with an aim to provide better infrastructural facilities to the villagers in the remote area of Mon district near Indian border.
