KTC 8th graduation ceremony: The 8th graduation ceremony of Kihoto Theological College (KTC) would be held on April 7,10am at conference hall KTC. The graduation ceremony would be addressed by Rev. Yevito Sema executive secretary SBAK. All alumni students and well-wishers have been requested to attend the graduation ceremony.
Training for guides: Basic course Guide captain would be conducted from April 6 to 12 at state training centre Nerhema. Middle and high school lady teachers have been informed to attend the training. Interested candidates may contact I Amenla Soyah, state training commissioner (Guide) at 09856315077. Meanwhile, district organising commissioners’ pre-review meet and Rajya Puraskar testing camp for Scouts and Guides would be conducted at state training centre, Nerhema from April 27 to May 2. District organizers have been requested to send the list of Tritiya qualified to the office of the Bharat Scouts and Guides for necessary preparations.
DYC Tuensang on natural calamity fund: District Youth Congress Tuensang has appealed the directorate of relief and rehabilitation Nagaland to disclose the actual amount paid for natural calamity in respect of Tuensang district. According to general secretary DYC Tuensang T. Thungti Chaba Chang, during 2009-2010 the actual amount was only `300 per beneficiary where several lakh of properties were damaged by landslide. DYC Tuensang has questioned as to why some of the sections were receiving less amount when government of India had sanctioned equal amount. District Youth Congress Tuensang therefore appealed the department to check the funds meant for public in order to avoid confusion in future.
BYFD combined service: Baptist Youth Fellowship Dimapur (BYFD) would be holding its first combined service on March 27, 3pm at Town Baptist Church Dimapur. All youth have been requested to attend the fellowship.
NSF 3rd committee meeting: Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) 3rd organizing committee meeting would be held on March 26, 10:30am at NSF conference hall. All members have been requested to attend the meeting.
WSSU presidential meeting: Presidential meeting of the Western Sumi Students’ Union (WSSU) has been fixed on March 29, 10:30am at the union’s office, Thahekhu. All unit presidents have been requested to attend the meeting.
ZTC notice to pharmacies: Chief Advisor, Zunheboto Town Council (ZTC) has warned those pharmacies running without proper and valid licences within Zunheboto town. Zunheboto town council cautioned such group to desist from their activities, failing which it added that necessary action would be taken against defaulters.
KMC inform business establishments: Administrator, Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has informed all shops, business establishments, private schools, clinics, pharmacies, cable operators, private financial establishments, private institutions, private telecom companies, Aircel, Airtel, Reliance, Vodafone, Tata Indicom, Idea etc., to obtain/renew their trade lincense before April 30. Further, KMC informed that trade lincense fee has been enhanced by 15% from the existing rate. Any establishments operating without registering in Kohima Municipal Council office would be penalized, and no service would be rendered to them, said KMC and informed defaulters would penalized with a fine of `100 imposed on defaulters.
Immanuel College informs students: Principal, Immanuel College has informed students who appeared NU examination 2011 that some error has been detected in their hall ticket, and to submit the same for necessary corrections. The college further informed students who applied for scholarship during 2010-11 to submit their bank account number before April 8.
APSTA meeting: Meeting of All Nagaland pre- service teachers association (APSTA) has been convened on March 29, 10am at NSF conference hall. All executive members, unit presidents’ representatives have been informed to attend the meeting.
DCC Kohima meet: The District Congress Committee Kohima has convened an executive meeting on March 29, 11am at DCC Office Kohima. All DCC office bearers, frontal chief and ACCC presidents have been requested to attend the meeting.
EAC HQ Saptiqa: The headquarters of the Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC), Saptiqa will be inaugurated on April 5 at 10am. Ministers G. Kaito Aye and Doshehe Y. Sema would be the chief guest and guest of honour respectively. Planning board members and elder’s council Saptiqa has invited officers, Church leaders, public leaders, government servants, neighbouring villagers and well wishers to attend the function.
NCFG food festival: Naga Christian Fellowship Guwahati (NCFG) would be organizing a Naga food festival on March 26, 2pm at Christ church, Nehru Park, Pan Bazaar Guwahati. The festival would be held on the theme ‘Celebrating food with a cause” to raise fund for its spiritual and compassionate ministry.
