A team of state level youth Congress leaders comprising of Dokiu Kecham vice president, Mhonchumo Ovung, general secretary (Admn), Joshua Swu, secretary and Shillem Khiam, president, District Youth Congres (DYC), Tuensang toured Tuensang district from February 21 to 25 and interacted with party workers and general public on various issues.
On the invitation of Public Co-operation Forum of Kiutsukiur Village (PCFKV), NPYC officials attended the special programme organized by PCFKV on February 23 with Dokiu Kecham, vice president, NPYC as special guest.
Delivering the key note address, Kecham called upon the people to be vigilant over corruptions and anti-people oriented policies of some vested individuals.
He lamented that vested individuals do not spare even the subsidies and meager funds meant for development of rural villages.
He further stated that Youth Congress would continue to fight for the rights of common people so that the downtrodden people living in the remote areas benefit out of their due share.
The visiting youth congress officials, Mhonchumo Ovung, general secretary (Admn) NPYC, Joshua Swu, Secy, NPYC and Shillem Khiam, president, DYC, Tuensang also addressed the gathering.
The visiting NPYC officials also had interaction with the leaders of United Public Forum of Shiponger village.
