Matriculate anganwadi workers have strongly reacted against the circular issued by directorate of social welfare on promotion of matriculate anganwadi workers to supervisors on February 18.
Four members representing all matriculate anganwadi workers, Rongsennungla, among Amer, I Bendanglemla and Pangersenla in a letter addressed to the director stated the last date of submission of fresh application forms from those serving matriculate anganwadi workers to go through departmental selection board on or before February 28, just ten days notice from the date of issue was confusing and contradictory.
In this regard, the anganwadi workers queried as to how workers could apply fresh applicants just to get promotion when some of the workers have been serving for more than a decade.
The anganwadi workers, in this regard, appealed the department to look into the matter so as to enable the workers to serve without “mental anxieties”
