IAF recruitment rally

Indian Air Force offers opportunities for unmarried male Indian citizens from states of north east region (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura) to become an airman. The recruitment test will be held at Assam Rifles Ground, Zodin Square, Aizawl (Mizoram) from April 7 to April 12.
Educational qualifications are: (a) For group ‘Y’ {except auto tech, GTI and IAF (P) trades}: Passed intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination with science, arts or commerce subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and pass in each subject or 3 years diploma in any stream of engineering from a Government recognized polytechnic/institute shall be permitted to appear for group ‘Y’ {Except Auto Tech, GTI and IAF (P) trades}in Indian Air Force.
(b) For group ‘X’ (technical) trades: Candidate should have passed Intermediate/10+2 with pass marks in mathermatics and physics with a minimum OF 50% marks in overall aggregate. Or should have passed a 3 years diploma course in Engineering (mechanical/electrical/electronics/automobile/computer science instrumentation technology information technology) with at least 50% marks in overall aggregate from a govt recognised polytechnic institute.Age limits: Candidates should be born between July 1, 1990 to September 30, 1994 (both days inclusive).
