State level consultative was organised by regional resource and training centre north east –II (RRTC NE-II) in collaboration with Shishu Sarothi, centre for rehabilitation and training for multiple disability, Guwahati at the Red Cross Conference Hall, Kohima on Wednesday.
The meeting was organized to study the new national drafted law for persons with disability Act 2011 and recommended changes/additions in consonant with the state to the ministry of social justice government of India.
Various organization for disability, Human Right layers Network, Parent Association in the state represented in drafting the recommendation.Amvalika Senapati, assistant project coordinator from Shishu Sarothi, Guwahati explained on the concept of draft and later facilitated in drafting the recommendation.
Dr. P. Ngully, Chairman, Kripa Foundation chaired the program while Dr. Joyce Z. Angami, Advisor to Nagaland parent association of disable said the welcome address. Bendang Imsong from RRTC NE II, pronounced vote of thanks.
