NBA general body meeting: General body meeting of Nagaland Bar Association (NBA) has been convened on April 15, 11am at the DBA building Dimapur.
BSI programme: Bible Society of India (BSI) Dimapur Auxiliary would be conducting annual general meeting and thanksgiving programme at New Life Bible College on April 14, 10am. Rev. Dr. Moses Murry Superintendent North East India AG would be the speaker. Auxiliary committee members, sub committee members, chief patron members, regular donors, branch officials, well-wishers and supporters of BSI ministry have been requested to attend the AGM programme.
THN Emergency sitting: Emergency sitting of Tangkhul Hoho Nagaland (THN) has been convened on April 16, 11:30am at TBC, Diphupar.
Extempore speech competition: As part of its yearlong activities, Kohima district planning and development board (DPDB) would be conducting an extempore speech competition for government high schools under Kohima district on April 15 at 11:30 am. The extempore speech competition would be followed by DPDB meeting at 12:30pm.
Mass social work: All Nagaland Government Drivers’ Association (ANGDA), Wokha unit would be organizing a mass social work on April 28, 9:30am at DBHSS youth centre compound. All unit members have been requested to attend the social work. A fine of `300 would be imposed on members failing to attend, added ANGDA.
ITCS 1st graduation service: The 1st graduation service of International Theological College and Seminary (ITCS), Dimapur would be held on April 16, 10am at the college campus. Dr. Stalin K Thomas, international director IATA would be the speaker.
BIKN general meeting: Benreu Ikumbe ca Lui Kangbau Nagaland (BIKN) has convened a general meeting on April 29, 10am at Ngwalwa Ikumbeca Lui ki (building), opposite public ground, Ngwalwa.
Trade licence checking: Adhoc Town Council (ATC), East Dimapur would be checking trade licence of all business establishments/shops within its jurisdiction on April 16. ATC informed that business establishments found without valid permit or licence would be imposed a fine of `500 and `300 for non-renewal of trade licence on the spot.
DPDB Tuensang meeting: District planning and development board (DPDB) meeting for the month of April for Tuensang district would be held on April 19, 11am at deputy commissioner conference hall, Tuensang. All DPDB members/HoDs Tuensang district have been requested to attend the meeting.
ANPSA emergency meeting: All Nagaland Private Schools Association (ANPSA), Wokha unit has convened an emergency general meeting on April 16, 10am at LMS School. All heads of the private schools in Wokha have been requested to attend the meeting.
Lost and found: VCM Padumpukhuri village, Nichu Kath Rengma, has informed that on April 10 around 6pm a cow (male) was found wandering at his residence in Padumpukhuri village. The rightful owner has been asked to contact 9856176771/8014208085 within three days, after which no claim would be entertained.
FAC provisional admission: Fazl Ali College (FAC) has informed that provisional admission to BA/BSc. II and III classes started from April 11 and that regular classes would begin from April 19. Fees for failed students would be refunded and students have been informed to enroll themselves prior to the results declared by the university.
Charis school ‘Open Air Worship’: Charis School of Worship Kohima would be organizing ‘Open Air Worship’ at Science College junction Jotsoma on April 14 at 5.30pm and graduation day programme on April 16.
Career guidance seminar: Zunheboto Range Students’ Union (ZRSU) would be organizing a career guidance seminar on April 15, 9am at Town Hall. Parliamentary secretary industries and commerce, Dr. K.C. Nihoshe, would be the chief guest and Dr. Akaho MBBS, MD general medical; Mito Z Yepthomi JAA treasurer, Sasuli A Chishi supervisor NPSC social welfare and Khewoto Yepthomi associate pastor SBAZ would be the resource persons. All students above class-X have been requested to attend the seminar.
STH: Sumi Totimi Hoho (STH) will hold its annual session(Baghi Hoho) on April 15 at Pughoboto with the theme “Woman’s role in today’s world”. MLA Advisor Sericulture & Co-operation Azheto Zhimomi, will be the chief guest and Lovitoli H.Awomi, HoD Education department, Mt. Olive College Kohima will be the guest of honour .Zhekheli Zhimomi, Advocate Guwahati High Court, Kohima Bench would be the theme speaker of the meeting. All STH unit and ex-officials have been requested to attend the meeting.
Dead body recovered: An unidentified dead body of a non-local was recovered from Dimapur railway station on Monday night around 8pm. According to police sources, the victim was suspected to be in his forties. Meanwhile, police sources informed that the body has been kept at civil hospital morgue for identification.
