Time and again, the construction work at the said bridge had been stopped due to various reasons and this time too, even though the company’s grievance was addressed, the work was yet to commence, stated a press note issued by Khaghaboto Kukami Kuqhakulu (KKK).
Khaghaboto Kukami Kuqhakulu chairman, Jacob Zhimomi in a press statement said M/s PABSCON Company was taking the people of Khaghaboto area for granted and indirectly harassing the people by delaying the work.
According to Jacob Zhimomi, after visiting the construction site, it was found that the company has intentionally held up the work for reasons best known to them.
The statement also added that there was ample time before onset of monsoon season to execute work but instead the company has been moving the construction materials from the site.
Khaghaboto Kukami Kuqhakulu demanded that the work be resumed immediately and cautioned that public of Khaghaboto area would take up its own course of action to seek justice and the company would be held responsible for any untoward incident
