35 students graduate from MRC

Missiological Research Centre (MRC), Dimapur held its 14th “convocation exercise” Thursday with a total of 35 students graduating in various disciplines.
One student received degree in MA mission, while nineteen students received master of divinity, two bachelor of missiology, six bachelor of theology, five diploma in mission studies, one short term missionary orientation course and two certificates in mission studies.
General secretary of Council of Baptist Churches in North East India (CBCNEI), Rev.Dr. A.K. Lama, who was the graduation ceremony speaker, congratulated the outgoing students and urged them to live a sacrificial and sincere life as they move out of the institute.
The speaker urged the new graduates to be like Timothy, a “selfless servant”, while referring to Apostle Paul’s letter to the Philippians, the book of Philippians 2:20.
Earlier, MRC founder president Rev. Dr. Phuveyi Dozo, in his greetings, said the center, led by the enabling hand of God, was merging into a new dimension of faith with a clear vision and focus on the least reached parts of the world.
He also wished the outgoing students success and victory in the “Lord’s battle.”
NE regional director of Indian institute of missiology (IIM), Rev. Dr. Khehovi opened the programme with Bible reading and prayer, while commissioning prayer was bestowed by Kohima Ao Baptist Arogo senior pastor Rev. Asang.
The ceremony was attended by family, friends of graduating students, MRC faculty members and well wishers.
