The 19th A/C NPF organized a week-long tour to Delhi from April 6 to 12.
During the weeklong stay in Delhi, the team comprising 44 members visited several places of interest including Indira Gandhi Memorial, Nehru Planetarium, Qutub Minar, India Gate, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Lotus Temple, Red Fort, Zoo, Nehru Park and Gandhi Samadhi.
Following the week-long successful tour to the capital city, the team led by 19th A/C NPF president Api Vadeo expressed gratitude to minister health and family welfare, Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu for sponsoring the entire trip.
The team also expressed gratitude to chief minister Neiphiu Rio who hosted dinner for the entire team at Nagaland House, New Delhi.
Minister for health and family welfare, Kuzholuzo highlighting the objective behind the trip, said it was aimed at exposing grass root level leaders to modern city life and educating them on the progress and development.
He also expressed confidence that such trips would bring about a positive change in villages back home. The team thanked deputy resident commissioner, Wezope Kenye and PRO, Nagaland House, Delhi Koulie Mere for assisting the participating tour members and making the stay comfortable.
